Exposure Music Awards was started in 2008 in the UK by Dean Hill and Martin Brown. The purpose is to provide exposure and recognition to independent artists by producing an event to celebrate their music. After two successful events in southern England, Exposure is now expanding to other areas of England as well as internationally.
Dean has had a long career in the independent music industry in England, through his label, touring company and affiliation with independent media.
Martin is the founder of the Orange County Music Awards in California, as well as the Ontario Independent Music Awards in Toronto, Canada. Both have dedicated their lives to helping independent musicians.
